Professional Engineers

  • Randall is an alumnus of Saint Louis University with a background in electrical engineering. He currently works as a Senior Protection and Controls Engineer at Wood Canada Limited. As a licensed Professional Engineer, he is committed to mentoring younger engineers in the field.

  • Mikko is an Electrical Engineer from McElhanney with background in Industrial, commercial and Municipal Infrastructure. As a professional Engineer, he aims to provide safe and future-proof design for the benefit of the public.

  • Jenish is a Scaffold Engineer and Principal at Scaffcheck Engineering Inc. He started his career as a professional civil engineer working in general construction and became a subject matter expert in design of formworks and falseworks.

  • Alvin is a proud member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, people with invible disabilities, and has a background in Energy, Mechanical Engineering and Project Management. He is passionate about promoting talks about sustainability, equity, diversity, inclusion, reconciliation and the improvement of our physical and mental health.

  • Don holds a BSECE from PUP and is a licensed P.Eng., P.E., PMP, IntPE, and APEC Engineer and currently serving as Partner and Senior Director at CIMA+ Engineering. Through his volunteer roles with EGBC, BCIT, ACEC-BC, SFEBC, and his local church, he actively mentors and inspires fellow Filipino engineers to grow, lead, and thrive in their professional journey in Canada.

  • Davie is a Mechanical Engineer at EPro Consultants Ltd. in Abbotsford, BC, specializing in HVAC system and plumbing design. Having recently achieved his professional designation, he is actively advancing in his career and embracing new opportunities for growth.

  • Mhel is a Project Engineer at Vancouver Airport Authority with a background in Mechanical Engineering. He is a Professional Engineer that serves as an owner's Project Manager within YVR's Engineering Projects Department. He is responsible to deliver projects by managing consultants and contractors that design and construct capital projects included in YVR's Roadmap to Net Zero Program.

He brings 12 years of diverse experience in building systems construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance across healthcare, commercial, residential, and institutional facilities. As a Professional Engineer, he leverages his expertise to advance a safer, more sustainable, and energy‑efficient built environment.

  • Hansel is a Senior Piping Engineer in British Columbia with experience in mining, oil & gas, process plants, shipbuilding, and industrial infrastructure projects across Canada and internationally. He is passionate about systems-focused engineering, mentoring fellow engineers, and driving innovation through practical and efficient engineering solutions.

  • Glenn is a Senior Engineer, Electronics - Navigation Systems Discipline Lead at Seaspan ULC. He is a Professional Engineer with decades of experience in front-end engineering and design (FEED), electronic system integration, tender/bidding, detailed engineering, execution/installation, commissioning, testing, field operation support for newbuilt and modification & maintenance projects for Telecoms and Navigation systems within Oil and Gas, Shipbuilding, Marine engineering sectors.

  • Rob is a Senior Mineral Processing Engineer at Teck Highland Valley Copper with a background in Metallurgical Engineering. As a Professional Engineer, he would like to explore sustainable mineral processing innovations.

  • Mark is a Mechanical Engineer at Flour Corporation. He has over sixteen years of diverse experience across various industries, including refinery, chemical, petrochemical, offshore, semiconductor hydrogen, and waste and water treatment facilities.

  • Kate is an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer at Solaris MCI. She is an experienced Engineer with a proven track record in the oil and energy industry. Proficient in AutoCAD, SmartPlant Instrumentation, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).

  • Alvin is a Mechanical Engineer at Veolia North America with experience in power generation, including steam and gas turbine units; clean energy technologies focused on green and gray hydrogen; manufacturing and production plants, utility sectors, and building infrastructure.

  • Sherwin Solomon is a Mechanical Project Engineer and Pilot Plant Manager at NORAM Electrolysis Systems Inc., with over a decade of experience in mechanical and energy projects across various industries. He excels in technical design, regulatory compliance, and project management, driving cross-functional collaboration and optimizing workflows from feasibility to commissioning.


  • Julius is a seasoned Process Engineer at Solaris MCI, based in Surrey, British Columbia. With over 14 years of experience in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) environments, he has specialized in process design, particularly for offshore and upstream oil and gas projects.

  • Marvin is a Senior Project Manager at Hall Mechanical with a background in Mechanical Engineering. As a Professional Engineer, he provides technical expertise to owners, general and mechanical contractors with a primary focus on safety, sustainability, quality, and profitability.

  • Diosdado is a Professional Electrical Engineer both in PH and BC, a Red Seal Journeyman, certified Project Management Professional and holds MBA. He is serving as a site Project Engineer at Woodfibre Management Ltd., he brings over 30 years of experience in electrical design and project management. He is passionate about supporting fellow FIlipino aspiring to become P.Eng.

  • Mark Jayson holds a degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering and has over 10 years of international experience. As a professional engineer, he is committed to continuous learning, quality work, and mentoring others in their professional growth.

  • John is a Structural Design Engineer at S. Sura and Associates Ltd. with over 10 years of professional experience in structural design, project management, quantity surveying, and quality assurance. He has led and supported projects in the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors, with responsibilities spanning engineering design to construction supervision.

  • Ace is a Professional Engineer and Environmental Professional with 20+ years of international experience in sustainable mechanical design. He leads teams in energy compliance, HVAC optimization, and carbon modeling. He co-authored Buildings in Extreme Environments – Tropical Climates (CIBSE) and is active in CIBSE, CABE, IES, ASHRAE, and IBPSA-USA Certification Committee.

  • Mikii is a facilities and energy management professional with 17+ years of experience in HVAC, central plants, and critical mechanical systems. His work optimizing facilities and advancing high-performance buildings helped earn an ASHRAE Technology Award. He now serves as an Energy Management Advisor at FortisBC.

  • Christian is Mechanical Engineer with over eighteen (18) years of combined experience in mechanical engineering design, building construction, and project management across LNG, petrochemical, mining, and diverse industrial project environments.

  • Fernan holds a degree in Civil Engineering and has over 15 years of international experience in large-scale construction projects across Qatar, including asphalt roadworks, high-rise buildings, piling, landscaping, precast elements, and infrastructure development. As a Professional Engineer, he is committed to quality work, continuous professional development, and effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

  • Matt is an Engineer-in-Training with hands-on experience in commissioning, maintenance, and construction. He strives to become a well-rounded engineer capable of contributing across multiple industries.

  • Jocelyn is a solid Manufacturing Industrial Engineer (EIT - British Columbia) with extensive 2 decades of experience in the field of Production Planning, Capacity Modelling, Productivity Projects and Supply Chain/Procurement. Jocelyn has Proven leadership and technical skills in improvement implementations, simplifying processes and developing solutions leading to efficiency in processes.

  • Robert is a Civil Engineer-in-Training at Solaris MCI. His years of experience in Project Coordination, Consultancy and Quality Control provided him with skills that are valuable in the civil engineering profession. He aims to gain valuable experience that will help him be a successful project manager in the future.

  • Emmanuel is an Assistant Team Leader in Creation Technologies. He is skilled in Field Service Engineering, Technical Support, Engineering, Machine Operation, and Software Installation. He is also an experienced electronic assembler with a demonstrated history of working in the electrical and electronic manufacturing industry.

  • Sandra is a Chemical Engineer-in-Training and has a specialized experience in battery scale-up, she brings strong expertise in transitioning advanced energy storage technologies from lab-scale innovation to pilot-scale production. Her focus has been on optimizing and scaling manufacturing processes to enable the successful commercialization of next-generation battery solutions.

  • Lou is a Mechanical Engineer-in-Training at Optimil Machinery Inc. with a background in Mechanical Engineering. Specializing in log and board systems for sawmills, she creates detailed design and makes revisions as needed to optimize performance while meeting all safety and operational standards. Additionally, she thoroughly reviews the parts manual to guarantee accuracy for service and maintenance, ensuring seamless operations.

  • John Michael is a Junior Quantity Surveyor and Civil Engineer with over 4 years of experience in construction management for public and private infrastructure projects. He is an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with EGBC, focused on delivering quality results through effective cost control and project oversight.

  • Feli is a Project Engineer at Polaris Engineering with a background in Mechanical Engineering. He is a registered EIT and PMP Certified with more than 3 years of experience in wastewater network operation/project management.
